SBI PO 2014 Final Score Card and Marks Obtained

SBI-PO-2014SBI has finally released the marks for SBI PO 2014 exam, held earlier this year. The exam was held to select 1800+ candidates for the post of Probationary Officers in SBI. The second phase of GD and personal interview was held in October and results were declared earlier this month.

SBI PO 2014 – Category Wise Cutoff

Here is a quick breakdown of the cutoff marks in the entire selection process. We will start first with marks secured in phase 1.

SBI PO 2014 Cutoff Marks – Phase 1

The marks given below were the minimum marks one had to secure to proceed to round 2 of the exam.

SBI PO 2014 Final Cutoff Marks – Phase 1

Minimum Cutoff  98 78 106 112 81 96

In phase 2, total 50 marks were up for grabs in GD and PI. Only around 4500 candidates were called for phase 2 of the exam, and out of these, only 1800 were to be selected. Minimum cutoff in phase 2 was as below.

Minimum Cutoff  18 20

The total marks were calculated out of 300 and were then normalized to 100. Marks scored in phase 1 were normalized to 75 (from 250) and marks secured in phase 2 were normalized to 25 (from 50). The total normalized marks were then arranged in order of merit and the final cutoff arrived at, as shown below.
